Education and Program Specialist
Start Date: July 1, 2008

High Plains Regional Education Cooperative (HPREC) is currently seeking a full-time Education and Program Specialist to provide support to regional schools in northeastern New Mexico. Responsibilities include training, as well as working with school-based teams, related service personnel, and administrators on special education compliance issues, SPP indicators, and the dual discrepancy model (RtI). Responsibilities also include training and coaching on literacy, positive behavior support, and other identified areas. Position may require diagnostician duties. Excellent written/oral communication skills, computer skills, organization, leadership skills, and ability to work as a team required. Experience in special education compliance, SPP indicators, and working as a consultant required. MA in education or related field required. NM Licensure in Administration and as a Diagnostician preferred.
