Approved Professions
We are in the process of securing approval to provide continuing education units (CEUS) for social workers. If approved, this conference will offer 8.5 credit hours and cultural hours by NASW-NM.The licensee must maintain proof of continuing education courses taken for the past four (4) years. The board reserves the right to audit a licensee's continuing education records as it deems necessary.
Attendees requesting CEUs must abide by the policies and procedures set by the conference office. The tracking and certificate distribution policies have been developed to meet the requirements set by the various licensing boards, and the conference office does not have the ability to deviate from these policies.
Please note that policies are subject to change. Individual session instructions can be found on the session description page.
It is ultimately the responsibility of each licensee to keep abreast of the current rules and regulations of his/her respective licensing board. Please contact your state licensing board with any questions regarding licensure renewal, continuing education requirements, and requirements for acceptable continuing education courses, programs, and sponsors.
Expenses for continuing education, when taken to maintain and improve professional skills, are tax-deductible. Consult your accountant for complete details.
I don’t see my professional designation included on your list of CEUs offered. Can I still get CEUs?
- If your board is not listed above, we do not have the approval to give out continuing education units for that profession. That does not necessarily mean you can’t get credit. You will need to contact your board directly to find out what they will accept and if they have reciprocal agreements with any of the approved granting organizations. There will be an option to request a general certificate of attendance.
How to Obtain Credit
To meet the requirements established by the licensing boards, attendees must:
- Attend two days of the conference in full:
To receive credit, it is the expectation you attend from the start to the end of a session. No partial attendance is given. - Complete the session evaluation:
A session evaluation will be emailed to you after the event. This will be sent to the email you used to register for the training series within 48 hours at the close of the event. You will complete the anonymous evaluation and any required tests. You will then be directed to your certificate to print on your own.
