The New Mexico Public Education Department – Office of Special Education is pleased to announce its 2025 spring Special Education Law Conference (this is a repeat of the 2024 Fall law conference, and is being offered to those who were unable to attend in September).

The conference is facilitated by High Plains Regional Education Cooperative #3.

Time: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

*There is no cost to attend.

The information and topics covered will be a repeat of the 2024 fall Special Education Law Conference. If you attended September 11–12, 2024, you do not need to register for this conference.

Target Audience

This conference is designed for school-based teams, including district and school administrators, special and general education teachers, and related service providers. This is a repeat of the 2024 Fall Special Education Conference, so preference will be given to those who did not attend in the fall.

Any member of a New Mexico LEA district/charter or state agency interested in learning more about special education law may also attend.

Participants will be provided with up-to-date information on special education’s hottest topics.

This year’s final agenda is forthcoming, but the conference will include:
